An idea whose time has come
In June 2004, American Life League Associate group Pro-Life Wisconsin sponsored the first known public vigil denouncing the Griswold decision. June 7 marks the 10th anniversary of Pro-Life Wisconsin’s annual Griswold vigils that are held in many locations across Wisconsin.

Inspired by Pro-Life Wisconsin, in 2008 American Life League and STOPP (Stop Planned Parenthood International) launched the first nationwide “The Pill Kills Day,” with grassroots activists bringing the truth about the pill to Americans across the nation. The Pill Kills has educated thousands and gained national media attention in recent years. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow vehemently attacked the campaign on multiple occasions, while talk show host Ricki Lake expressed her agreement with The Pill Kills via Twitter saying, “We’ve seen too many deaths from birth control pills.”

The pill’s legacy: Sickness, cancer, blood clots, death
The pill is packaged and sold as a panacea for the world’s problems and as a ticket to freedom for women. In reality, the birth control pill and other contraceptives are making women sick, disabling them, and even killing them.

In 2005, the World Health Organization listed the pill (estrogen-progestogen oral contraceptives) as a Group 1 cancer-causing agent that raises risk for breast, liver, and cervical cancers.

Lawsuits against contraceptive manufacturers continue to mount, and millions of dollars are being awarded to victims—mostly because of blood clots that cause strokes, heart attacks, and death.

New research and headlines continue to confirm that the pill kills. Young women schooled in the idea that contraception should be used to prevent pregnancy at all cost learn to think of babies as the enemy that will destroy their lives, then default to abortion when they find they are pregnant.

That fear of children that results from the contraceptive mentality, coupled with the abortifacient nature of the pill, is depopulating and destroying our society one child at a time.
